Hello friends! I’ve been slacking on my blog lately but have some big things in store for my blog as well as me personally.
My husband and I are expecting another baby in October. Swoon! We are so excited! We already have a 22 month old son and I am probably more excited this time around than I was with my boy. The reality of being a mom is as natural as breathing these days and I’m not as tightly wound as I was when he was born. I like to joke that having a baby is the cure for a Type A personality (which I used to have). There’s no room for having things “just so” anymore when you have a little one depending on you for life.
This time around, I know I’m going to be tired but the love that I have for my son is endless and I’m excited for our family to grow.
I’ve also been working on my fitness as well. Last time around, I exercised until I was about 20 weeks pregnant and then called it quits. After a 26 hour natural labor at the end of my pregnancy, I was beyond exhausted. This time around, I want to be as healthy as possible.
Blog wise, I have some great articles planned that I’m excited to share with you. This includes a series that I’ll be doing each month about inspiring friends of mine. I did an interview with my friend – who you guys will ADORE – and I can’t wait to share it with you. We talked about anything and everything and the results of our conversation were pure encouragement and light. It’ll probably be a two-part series. I’m thinking of calling it Kitchen Table Talks but I don’t love it. If you have a name suggestion, I’d love to hear it so comment below!
Looking forward to a great April and a continuation of the awesomeness that is the year 2016!
In case this year isn’t everything you’ve hoped for don’t fret. God has good things in store for you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “
Take heart. Even if things aren’t ideal God has plans to for a good future for you!
