Stanton Lane Boutique – Women in Business

February 21, 2019

It’s time for me to introduce you to another woman in business. This time, I’m ecstatic to tell you about my friend Callie Harwell, owner of Stanton Lane Boutique, that sells clothing online. Next month, her clothing will also be featured at Texas Soul Boutique opening March 2019 on the square in Ozark, Missouri.

Callie is originally from Springfield, Missouri but moved to the Kansas City area after college only to come back to her old stomping grounds after having her two boys, Thomas and Jack, with her husband Derek. They are expecting their third child this summer. 👶

Although she’s always been a fan of shopping and fashion blogs, becoming a mother is what truly inspired her to start her business. “I honestly just wanted to find a way to make income while staying at home with my kids”, Callie says. “Not for now, but when they are in school, because I don’t really want to get a regular job after staying at home. I felt like starting a small business was perfect for flexibility, but also needed time to build so I began now.”

She also shares, “I want to see my children achieve every goal they set. I’m their biggest fan. I think it’s really important that I set that example.”

Her favorite thing within her business is interacting with her clientele. “I love customer service,” she explains. “I love that this is 100% mine so I know all the answers. I love seeing new people comment and it thrills me when people I don’t know become regular customers, and the ones who are my actual friends that interact [with me] mean so much as well.”

Stanton Lane clothing is generally $40 and under per piece and focuses on not only affordable styles but also great quality.  The sizes are small through 3X with something for every body type. I am such a fan of all the styles and really have to reign it in on her Facebook page so I don’t break our family budget. 💸🤣💕

Loving this mustard kimono.

With Spring coming up, Callie has a few tips to keep you in style. “Right now I’m seeing two color trends for Spring and Summer I love- mustard and pastels. I don’t love trends in general because I am all about buying something that lasts longer than a season, but these colors aren’t like neon- you can always use these colors, so your closet won’t be outdated if you’re buying a basic in blush.”

This green one piece is stunning!
